Banana River Fishing Report
Report Date: March 1, 2009
There is not much to say about fishing in the month of March. The fishing has been hot. The Red Fish has been doing an awesome job on our arm muscle. The morning bite has been starting off with slot size to upper slot size Reds to the awesome Bull Reds. Presenting bait at the right time is the different in a hook up or spooking these big school of Reds and making your time on the water harder. If fishing by boat you really need a push pole has these guys are very sensitive to the trolling motors. Stealth mode is a must and you have a better chance of a double hook up. We had a small tournament yesterday for GTKTW.ORG (GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD) where we placed 2nd. We did end up getting a trophy for the biggest fish which was a 42 inch Red. Until next time, Tight Lines
